Dr. Shahman Moishan is a prominent Bangladeshi theatre scholar, practitioner, and Associate Professor in the Department of Theatre and Performance Studies. His work is known for bridging traditional performance practices with contemporary theatrical methodologies. As a director and academic, he often supervises projects that explore the intersections of cultural heritage, social issues, and performative expressions. He has supervised nearly 100 Students’ Directorial works that were presented at the      public theatre festivals at Dhaka University in Bangladesh from 2012 to 2024.
